Our Stories

Monthly Featured Stories!

Each month, I feature a significant other of a celebrated chef or restauranteur, here on Our Stories.

I don’t know about you, but I’m curious to know how the ladies (and men) , connected to these celebrated chefs/restaurant men and women handle having a celebrity at home. What’s changed? What’s stayed the same?

This is a significant other who is connected to someone who catches your eye. Perhaps, in the public arena, or who runs in the local circles. Read how significant others of celebrated chefs and restaurateurs KNEW they had what it took, made it their own, got thru it, celebrated their OWN way and are now reveling in their success! We all could use a little inspiration!

For a moment, you can dive into the life of someones spouse, boy/girlfriend of someone who’s always intrigued you. Maybe someone you’ve seen on TV or in magazines….

I ask everyone the SAME (5) questions:

1. What were your first impressions when you first realized that by being with your restaurant man/woman, that you have become a part of the restaurant world?
2. When did you know that you had what it took, within the parameters of his/her career, to find success in your relationship?
3. What is the BEST part of being married to someone in the restaurant industry, BESIDES the food?
4. How do you handle the holidays knowing he/she is going to be busy at work?

5. How has achieving acclaim and success, within the restaurant industry, changed your relationship?
